ELDO is our new puppy's name. Now, don't get it mixed up with ELMO.
We are enjoying him a lot. Darren loves to pick him up...Darren just doesn't understand that he is not to pick up the puppy. In an odd way its cute to watch him pick the puppy up, but it's so hard not to feel sorry for ELDO. Darren loves him. Zak loves him too. He's the main reason we got Eldo. I've enjoyed being with him and playing with him...had to take him to the vets yesterday, he has tape worm. Eldo also got a rabies shot yesterday~he didn't like that too much.
Eldo has done great not tearing stuff up, or using the restroom in our house. I'm so thankful. In fact today, I left him out alone while I went out and did some errands and worked out. I was beginning to get a little nervous. When I got home, the floors were clear of debris and of that other stuff. I was so glad.
Our new addition...no doubt this puppy is going to get a lot of lovin' and affection.

Big Boy Bed!!
Sunday, January 20th, Darren graduated to a big boy bed!!!!!!!
Zak helped me move the guest bedroom furniture over to Darren's bedroom and Darren's Baby furniture into the guest bedroom. Needless to say, we no longer have a guest bedroom. Right this very moment, I wouldn't encourage anyone to go into that room.
Darren helped me vacuum the floor, put toys in his new toy organizers, arrange his stuffed animals, and make his "BIG BOY" bed. He was so excited! It is so cute to see him get excited. He no longer has his sweet "Malowee" decor. We got him a comforter that has blue, red, warm neon green, and yellow in it, in hopes it will be easy to decorate with later on as Darren changes themes. I am pleased with the look...darren doesn't know any difference right now, and Daddy (Zak) could careless, as long as I'm pleased, I guess that's what matters. I'm just glad that Darren likes his "New ROOM."
We have some of the rearranging on video~this is the only picture we got.
He has slept on his "BIG BOY BED" for 2 nights now and has NOT fallen off. He too has stayed in his room sound asleep! :O) Look how sweet he looks.
He's gotten' so big.

Our New Addition
YIP, I finally caved in...Zak has been wanting to get a dog for sometime now ~ before we got married. We had some regulations: hypoallergenic, no shedding, gentle, potty trained, not real active, cute, not expensive, good with kids, one that weighs no more than 20 pounds.
Out of the blue, one of the employees at Zak's work asked him if we would be interested in a 5 month old puppy. Well, Zak immediately responds positive, especially when he hears it's a miniature schnauzer. He called me up to let me know about the dog. I have to say, I was RELUCTANT at first. I know that these type of dogs are very active, some good with kids and some not, temperamental, hard to train, rough, can be snappy, and high maintenance.
Darren, Cassandra, and I went to check out this so called friendly, gentle puppy that is very close to being potty trained. To my surprise he was all of these. I asked if we could take him home only to get him out of his familiar surroundings...he has opened up, however, he is still gentle, he likes to play, but he too likes to snuggle. He's not going to cost an arm and a leg, however we will have the grooming expense. I can't believe how great he is with Darren. That's the seller point for me right there!! So far he listens and he's a quick learner. I won't go into detail, but let me put it this way, potty trainings going pretty good.

Yesterday afternoon, it was so cute watching Darren and this puppy play out in the back yard. Puppy's current name is Black Jack, but we are trying to find another name for him. If you have any ideas, we are open ears. Zak likes Eldo, Stacie likes Boko, Darren likes Mak (his Na-Na has 2 miniature schnauzer's~~Mick & Max).
We have enjoyed this puppy for 2 days now...I'm sure there's going to be a lot more fun.
Will keep you informed with the name we decide on.

H A P P Y N E W Y E A R ! ! !
2007
is gone!
We did a lot this past year as you read in our Christmas letter.
Even though we had a lot of decision makings: some hard, some trying, some sad, we made them and feel they were the best decisions we could have made.
We’ve said hello to new ones entering the world, and we’ve had to say bye to some~knowing, we will see them again with Gods grace.
We too have gained friends and have gotten to know kin folks a little better, in hopes to get to know them even better.
I ‘m looking forward to see what type of path(s) God has for us in
2008.
We wish all of you a wonderful, safe, right decision making, and healthy year.
Love to all,
