All we did is visit and share stories...it was a nice & pleasant day.

My niece Montana is in one of her "dress up" dresses she recently got at a garage sale along with some pump heels. She was modeling for us and before we knew it, she was digging in the dirt with "Little Darren." Too Cute.

Graduation

My nephew Daniel walks across the stage. It's pretty amazing to think my sisters oldest has graduated high school. Daniel is a good kid. He has done himself proud! He actually finished high school this past December, but he wanted to walk across the stage with his friends. He has already taken 18 hours of college credits. We found out recently he received a 10,000.00 scholarship to go toward any college. WOW, what a great way to start school!

Daniel we are very proud of you. We pray that you continue to do the best you can do.

When we first moved into the house we had an iron fence installed around the pool. I wanted to make sure Darren wouldn't have easy access to the pool.WELLLLL......

He now can open the gate by himself. We have a long neck lock that we put on the gate to prevent Darren to get into the pool area.

Let me tell you something. If Darren wants something bad enough, he's going to figure out how to get what he wants. He is a determined child!!

Happy Mother's Day

For Mother's Day Weekend, my mother-in-law, Mary Sue came out and helped me plant some flowers. Not only did she dedicate sweat, time, & love, she bought Darren & I stuff for planting. I am very greatful for all the stuff, especially the knee/stool pad she gave me. We had a lot of fun playing in the dirt. I LEARNED SO MUCH!

Updates For Realz This Time!!

The last time I was on, I had the intentions to update...the computer crashed on me. SORRY. In hopes this time I will be able to update. There's a lot to update, therefor I will be doing a lot of videos.

HHHHEEELLLLOOOOOO!!!

It's been a while I know. We've been a little busy here in the Nix Family. I will try and keep you
guys updated a bit better. I'm actually updating the blog today only because my father-in-law asked me too. He's a little (A LOT) tired of seeing those darn possums. So, Here's To You Mike.

Our blog I'm sure will not be in chronological order like I have done in the past, but at least you'll be able to see what's been going on.

I'm only posting some stuff today...I need to pack Darren and I to stay in Dallas for a week. We're going to have so much fun visiting our family & friends. I can't wait to see all of you.
