MUSCLE SPIDER MAN

This is Darren's first year to get the grasp about Halloween...He told me last week that he wanted to be Spider Man. Not exactly the costume I would have picked for him, but I have to admit he looked pretty darn cute.

Sunday the church/pre-school he goes to had a carnival. He dressed up and had a great time playing games, arts and crafts, & riding in the train.

HE's GETTING SO BIG!!!

Moore Farm's Pumkin Patch

Darren & I went to a pumpkin patch with some friends: Malory, Addison (2), Chelsea, & Ayden(15 months). We had a great time!!! We bought corn to hall and to feed to the farm animals, we took LOTS of pictures by halloween/fall wood carvings, went on a hay ride, covered the pumpkin patch, picked out the perfect pumpkin, went through a corn maze. tee teed in the corn maze (with permission-darren), got to ride on buggie. The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. darren specifically was exhausted. Just love going to pumpkin patches!!!

Darren's 1st BOARD GAME

PUMPKIN PATCH PHONICS

Some of you may not know this, but I am a GAME player!!! I will try my darnedest to get Darren be a Game player too. I ordered a board game from his school and it came in this past Thursday. We actually go to play it as a family!!! Thank You Cassandra for taking pictures!

Darren's finger up by his lips thinking...HHHMMMM.

FALL IS HERE

We have a colored leaf on our tree in the front yard...And I actually took time to notice it...

I had a Reading teacher in JR. HIGH school discuss not having the time to see the seasons change. Since she mentioned it, I have tried to remember to watch the seasons change. Fall really is a beautiful time of year. I like taking drives to see the color leaves...Thank You Mrs. Mary Scott for discussing seasons.

Around the House

Darren loves to ride his tricycle. He rides it outside & inside (since we got the floors done).
He too enjoys getting the mail for me. Thank goodness, or I'd forget to get the mail. He likes to check the mail b/c he gets some type of package to open up approximately once a week. He gets so excited when he sees a package sticking out of the mail box or on the bench. He usually lets me know when there's a package when we drive up in the drive.

Cassandra & Boogers

Cassie & Boogers...Cassandra thank you for all that you do for the Nix family. Really am glad that God put you in our lives. Boogers, I'm glad Eldo has a little playmate.

COWBOY GAME

On Sundays we usually have friends come over and watch the COWBOY game. We usually have munchies & Daddy Zak's awesome Marinated Chicken that he usually starts prepping the night before, along with corn on the cob, salad & another veg table. ~~~ WISH YOU WERE HERE ON SUNDAYS??? We have a great time. 8-)

D playing outside with his
friends Dillon & Ally.

Kizzie & Dan...they have to come over...when they don't the Cowboys tend not to play very well. Plus if they don't come over, we don't get Kizzie's YUMMIE in our TUMMY QUESO!!!

Darren Got a GUITAR

WOW!!!...WWWWEEEEEHHHHHH......YYYAAAAHHHHOOOOOO.....D worked hard on getting this guitar. He went a week with out any accidents at school. I feel that Darren has done a pretty good job over all with his potty training. Usually when he would have his accident(s) it would be during nap time or during recess time. (The hardest times to over come). He finally did and Daddy made an agreement with him...the result is Darren now how a Guitar. He has gone through more nights with no accidents these days thank goodness!!!

D.D. is inspired by musical instruments...whenever we enter church on Wed. nights (my bible study) the worship team is practicing. D has to go over and listen to them for a moment. I really do think he gets mesmerized listening and watching. After church service on Sundays Darren and Daddy go & look at the instruments close-up.

BIG BIG BIG HUG

Darren has been going through a stage where he wants to give big hugs, soooo, we get together like sardines & Darren squeezes us reallllll tight. We do this pretty much every morning, when Daddy comes in from work & whenever "D" calls for it. It really is a precious moment. I'm going to take it whenever I can, b/c I know it won't last long!!!
